A sermon from the Church of Non-Consumption at a Starbucks near you—Bill Talens, Reverend Billy, accompanied by organist Bill Henry. Preacher, prankster, frapuccino foe, and New York City mayoral hopeful Reverend Billy performed a series of anti-consumerist sermons and "shopping interventions" where he extorted local sinners against the devils of corporate cafe culture, the brainwashing of "Mickey Mouse Antichrist" and the loss of public space.

Sheri-D proposed a World Premiere Performance with local drag queens as part of a Valentine's Day/Friday the 13 celebration at Open Space. Her books of poetry, Swerve (Arsenal Press, 1993) and Girls Guide to Giving Head (Arsenal Press, 1996), have been reviewed and publicized to acclaim across Canada. R. M. Vaughan's new book of poetry A Selection of Dazziling Scarves came out in the fall of 1998 with ELW Press. His poems have previously appeared in Plush: An Anthology of Gay Male Poets (Coach House Press).
