Open Space counts on its members to provide valuable input and feedback that helps determine the direction of the organization.
Rewards of Membership:
- our quarterly newsletter
- invitations to all exhibitions, performances, concerts, readings, fundraisers and other presentations
- discounts to all events that have a cover charge
- voting privileges at the annual general meeting
Membership fees are as follows:
- $15 student
- $30 individual
- $50 group/family
- $75 sustaining member
Open Space is federally registered as a national arts service organization (registration number 11906 8815 RR0001). Donations to Open Space Arts Society of more than $100 will receive a charitable tax receipt. Contact us to become a member or to make a donation.
Volunteering at Open Space
Volunteers are essential to Open Space. If you are interested in learning more about contemporary art, working with the public, meeting artists or helping out behind the scenes, we offer a variety of opportunities. These run the gamut from assisting with an installation to working the door at a concert, performance or opening. For those who are new to the contemporary arts, becoming a volunteer at Open Space brings you into direct contact with an exciting community of artists and cultural producers.
To become a volunteer, please drop by Open Space during regular gallery hours and talk to anyone on staff.
